Remove Broken Headphone Jack with a Thumbtack
A bent thumbtack or drawing pin is an alternative. To form an L shape, grab a regular tack.
Take your tablet or phone in one hand and hold the thumbtack. Push it into the earphone socket. Push the thumbtack so that it touches the connector’s plastic end. Twist.
The bent point should slightly recess the plug. Once you are certain you have enough purchase, you can pull the damaged headphone jack apart.
